Floor Plan Research
CTC will research the floor plan of each project prior to beginning work in order to make sure that the entire vision of the project is understood. We will contact the customer for any necessary clarifications in order to ensure that the project is completed on time, and within budget.
CTC selects a team of technicians based on each project awarded. The Project Manager is selected first and is involved in the technician selection. Special attention is given to making sure that each team works well together and can complete the project to the customers expectations.
In the ideal situation, CTC will be awarded a project that begins during the pre-construction phase so that we may work with the General Contractor to complete our tasks. The pre-wiring phase is an important phase when the most ideal cable paths are determined, all the cable drops are run to their locations, J-hooks are installed into the ceiling for cable management, and cables are labeled and laid in the ceiling waiting for final termination once the General Contractor has completed the buildout.
CTC has worked in essentially every cabling environment from drop ceilings and drywall, to running cables through interstitials, to drilling through 20" thick concrete, trenching for conduit, manhole work, and more. Our experience qualifies us to work on any type of job, and any size job.
Quality of Workmanship
The quality of workmanship that goes into each project is the responsibility of the Project Manager selected. Our corporate personnel will make occassional visits into each workplace to make sure that our standards are being met. CTC has received high marks and references in all of the projects we have completed. In a recent survey completed by Open Ratings, Inc. which was required for our GSA Schedule 70 proposal submission, we received a 95.7% customer satisfaction rating. Our technicians are monitored by the CTC supervisors to ensure that the work completed meets our quality control standards, timeframes, and budgets. Technicians are trained to adhere to high standards of workmanship. Over 80% of the projects we are awarded are due to referrals from previous customers. We pride ourselves on the quality of work that we complete and understand that each customer deserves to be treated as out only customer.
The Project Manager assigned to each contract will be responsible for making sure that each task request follows our standards for excellence, and is completed according to contract specifications. The Project Manager is also responsible for knowing the applicable codes for low voltage electrical work and is a professionally trained technician. In addition, they will be the primary contact for the customer technical and contracts personnel for all day-to-day activities.
Upon completion of each project, the CTC Project Manager will conduct a final walkthrough with the customer to make sure that the project was completed to their expectations.
Codes and Laws
CTC is a corporate member of BICSI (Building Industry Consulting Service International) and subscribes to the latest standards, recommendations, and design methodologies being utilized within and throughout the industry, including the National Electric Codes (NEC).
